  • Dry Eye..Do your eyes feel scratchy, irritated and red? We can provide relief.

  • Diabetic Retinopathy..Having Diabetes for several years significantly  increases the risk of developing Diabetic Retinopathy. A complete eye examination, at least every year, is highly recommended. We send a report to your primary care doctor.

  • Macular Degeneration..The leading cause of vision loss among people over age 50. Some symptoms are: A gradual loss of ability to see objects clearly, and a gradual loss of clear color vision.

  • Glaucoma..The exact cause of glaucoma is not known.  Glaucoma most frequently occurs in individuals over the age of 40. Tragically, the first symptomatic indication may occur after some vision has already been lost.

  • Flashes, Spots and Floaters..Flashes or the appearance of streaks of light can be symptoms or signs of vitreous or retinal detachment and should be quickly evaluated. Floaters, sometimes called spots, are small, and semitransparent or cloudy particles that float within the vitreous, the clear, jelly-like fluid that fills the inner portion of your eyes.

  • Cataracts..Cataracts usually develop slowly and without pain. Some indications that a cataract may be forming include blurred or hazy vision, decreased color perception, or the feeling of having a film over the eyes.  With a comprehensive eye examination the doctors can determine if you have a cataract forming.

  • Chalazia and Styes..Two very common conditions that affect your eyelids. Both conditions respond well to treatment but if left untreated can be uncomfortable, unattractive and can lead to other problems.

  • Blepharitis..Chronic inflammation of the eyelids and eyelashes causing redness and soreness. This condition often needs lifetime treatment.
